Lieutenant Colonel Huthwaite the Commanding Officer of 105th Regt RA (V) who promoted me to Bombardier was in East Lothian last week promoting the event.
The Colonel took part in a special flag raising ceremony at the Town House, Haddington along with the Provost, the Lord Lieutenant of East Lothian and Army Cadet Corporal Matthew Armstrong who lives in Tranent.
Although he was banned from the parade the Mad Hatter turned up in the Queen’s Park to support the troops and make a nuisance of himself. This week’s photie was sent to me by Tommy Robertson of Backtracks.
If you’re up in the town pop in to Tommy’s shop. He's bound to have something you're looking for. You can’t miss it. I’ll be standing outside beside the bus shelter.
