The North Berwich Seabird Centre which I frequently visit has been shortlisted by the Green Tourism Business Scheme for its innovative campaign which has been undetaken by staff. The award ceremony will take place in Edinburgh on the 25th May.
Also nationally renowned artists Kenny Hunter and Diane Maclean have designed stunning new entrances onto Anchor Green, adjacent to the Scottish Seabird Centre.
I have not been to well recently but I am feeling much better now and will be going on my holidays next week.

This week's photograph show Lapo who lives with Maria Furbelli. Maria who lives in Italy and loves to visit Scotland, has written a small book on Greyfriars Bobby. When Maria was in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago, she paid a visit to Colour Sergeant Scott's grave in Piershill Cemetery and laid a flower as a tribute to the soldier who bought meals for Bobby.

I'm not long back from holiday with Kit and John. We went up to Banff for a week. While we were taking a walk through the town I spotted a cannon standing outside the Townhouse. It looked like the one I fire to open the Association's events, so I thought I'd have a go at firing it. Unfortunately as you can see from the photo, Kit had other ideas.
