I thought you’d like to see what Kit got for her Christmas, so this week’s photie shows the wooden plaque she found in her stocking, specially made for her by one of the Grassmarket Mission’s expert craftsmen.

 

If you’re looking for an original present I would check out their web site. If you're looking for a photie o' me, a postcard showing Brian dressed as Colour Sergeant Scott who fed the world famous dog, and yours truly at Greyfriars Bobby’s drinking fountain can be obtained from the Pet Centre.

 

The gannets are beginning to return to the Bass Rock, so Spring’s on the way. Bird watchers have been asked to keep an eye open for a gannet called Maximus who was born on the Bass Rock.
