Blue a ozomilion breed was born on the 22nd October 1999 in Tadcastle Farm,  Strathaven, Lanarkshire, Scotland. On his arrival ar North Berwick as a puppy, (called Blue because of his colouring) he was taken to the vets at North Berwick for a normal check-up.

2 years ago he had major surgery after snapping a main tendon (cranial cruciate ligament) in one his legs. He had a metal plate inserted  and after a lot of Tender loving Care is now quite fit.

He is the mascot of the One o'clock Gun and Time Ball Association. Blue is kept very busy, mixing with the dignities, wearing his coat in the Regimetal Colours of the Royal Artillery, Dark Blue edged with red, with gold embroidered badge of the One O'Clock Gun on either side.

He has a cannon which he fires when opening an event.

On the 14th January he places a wreath of flowers on the grave of Greyfriars Bobby to commemorate Greyfriars Bobby death in 1872
