I thought you'd like to see the photies John took of the souvenir dinner plates my friend Cath brought back from the U.S.A.

 

Cath’s a Scottish Country dancer. She visited the town of North Berwick in Maine in 1990 with the North Berwick Pipe Band. Although the North Berwick Pipe Band normally wears the McKenzie tartan, the Pipe Band Dancers wore a tartan specially designed by Donald Fraser for the visit.

 

Not long till Floral Clock Day. I’m looking forward to my visit to West Princes Street Gardens as a lot of people are coming from North Berwick including Sandra and Craig from Charlie’s Cafe.

 

I'm also looking forward to seeing Betty, Wilma and the Lord Provost.

 

Don't forget to put the date in your diary. We'll be having a cup of tea and a scone in the Lindisfarne Room after the ceremony. Kit's friend Mrs Jeffrey's coming along to help with the buffet.
