Tae "Blue"
Now this has been an important year for you
Kit 'n'
John's wee dug called "Blue".
You've got this wee hobby,
As a
stand in for Greyfriar's Bobby.
When someone knocks at yer
maisters door
You bark and charge across the floor
Visitors may
get an awful fright
But dinnae worry he'll no bite.
For a wee
dug that bides at hame
You've still got that "Local Hero" fame
Although
ye are the mascot for the One o' Clock gun
You are still full of
energy and loads of fun.
Now you've had your photo took
You've
got that real celebrity look
You've even had your spot on S.T.V.
Smart
and cute for all to see.

Blue
One Dog’s Rise to Fame
Blue’s puppy years were full of fun
For walkies he’d be off like a shot from a gun
Whilst a pup sitting on John’s knee
He quickly learned to count up to three
Kit walks him round and round the Lodge
That’s why he never gets a podge
When he goes on holiday to Portsoy
Walks on the beach he does enjoy
This was the pattern of his days
Filled with fun in lots of ways
Until one day fame did him strike
He was a Greyfriars Bobby look-alike
Now people flock, his coat to groom
In his Star’s big dressing room
His rise to fame came in a blur
Now lights flash and cameras whirr
Blue takes his fame well in his stride
And leads the march with doggy pride
All the attention hasn’t turned his head
He still loves his home and cosy bed
