It's been some week

 

As you can see on photie 8157 taken by David Rintoul, I laid a wreath on Beauty’s grave last Wednesday. Isobel done well as usual.

 

As well as telling the story of Lafayette to the adults before lunch, the pupils from the Royal High School came along in the afternoon and we performed the ceremony again. The school children were fascinated the story of the Great Lafayette especially the bit where the lion changes into the magician. Brian and one of the pupils helped me lay the wreath.

 

On Saturday morning I had to get up early as I had to be at Artillery House to wave off R.S.M. Roxby's Time Ball Challenge Team. After Brian gave the order for the bikers to take off, I nearly jumped out of my jacket when Shannon the Cannon fired his field gun.

 

I'm taking it easy this week as I'm off on holiday on Friday.
