Hundreds of people turned up...

 

...for Doors Open Day at the Calton Hill Observatory.

 

Colonel Huthwaite who promoted me to Bombardier came along with RSM Roxby.

 

He was knocked out by the transit telescope which the astronomer used to work out the time for the One o’ Clock Gun.
